About Us
We're just a bunch of students and ex-students from Sydney Uni (and elsewhere) who like to paddle. We cater for all levels, even if you've never set foot in a boat before, let alone a canoe. We often run beginner trips so feel free to join us and brush up on some of those basic skills that come in handy when you start shooting those grade 5 rapids and 10m waterfalls. When the weather isn't co-operating you will find us at the Penrith Whitewater Course. A great place to improve your skills and have a bit of fun without having to organise a trip at only $35 per session.
If whitewater isn't your thing the club also has a great facility on Blackwattle bay and runs flatwater trips on the Sydney Harbour every Wednesday morning. Hawkesbury River, Broughton Island, Lake Yarrunga and Jervis Bay are some of the other places we have visited in 2009.
It costs $70/year to join the club ($55 to Sydney Uni sport + $15 Club Fee) for an unlimited use of the club equipment. Alternatively one can pay $15 for each trip.
